Main Packages

I like to give everything up front. There's no hmming and hawing trying to calculate hours on your part. Who would have thought...straightforward prices. Let's talk. There shouldn't be guess work in business.

All rates are for a maximum of two sites per month unless otherwise specified. Prices are in Canadian dollars.





Service Packages

Setup Bundle: $240
    1. Up to 30-minute assessment with you by phone for your social media analysis and marketing plan. Who is your target audience? We’ll run through what type of social media you need—or don’t need—what I will be implementing for you, and a draft of how these will be used to reach your audience, all so the return on your investment can be maximized!
    2. Facebook business page created, Twitter account if needed (WordPress blog page optional: additional $100; related annual charges from WordPress apply)
    3. LinkedIn profile and selection of best groups to follow who are optimum to your business or following, who to connect to, etc.
    4. Setup of Hootsuite account to connect them all, optional (free of charge)

    Business Streamline: $450
      1. Up to 30 social media updates and responses (Optional - Up to 2 articles/blog posts 200w-500w: additional $20 ea)
      2. 1 Facebook page boost or post boost per month
      3. Site moderation and customer service for your clients
      4. Technical support and troubleshoot hiccups with web hosts (you don’t know how--or even where--to begin investigating the glitches, you only know there is one. Leave it to me!)
      5. Statistics report and action plan

    Business Advantage: $360
      1. Up to 15 social media updates and responses (Optional - 1 article/blog post 200w-500w)
      2. 1 Facebook page or post boost per month
      3. Site moderation and customer service for your clients
      4. Technical support and troubleshoot hiccups with web hosts
      5. Statistics report and action plan

    Business Compleat: $270
      1. Up to 5 social media updates and responses (Optional - 1 article/blog post 200w-500w)
      2. Site monitor and customer service for your clients

    Business Light: $90
      1. Up to 10 social media updates and responses OR
      2. Up to 2 blog posts 200w-500w OR
      3. Social media site moderator (limit to 1 site) and customer service to your clients OR
      4. Monthly email, up to 250w, to your customer/client base



    Support Package

    In A Pinch Retainer: $45

      Up to 30-minute assessment with you by phone for your overall business practices, demands, and usual emergency needs. We'll find the areas to target to best respond to your needs of the day/month, and what you will most likely call upon from me. Don't worry, the more we work together, the more automatic and seamless this will become.
      1. Craft 1 email response to clients OR
      2. Repost an item if by popular demand OR
      3. Up to 4 "emergency" tasks that pop up unexpectedly (response to a page comment, new email setup, make/confirm travel reservations, or another one-time small fire you need put out.

    WordPress Maintenance Package: $40
      1. Review Dashboard

    A la Carte

    Just like at your favorite restaurant, mix and match your own menu, or choose one service for a one-time or constant monthly need.

    Writing and Editing Bundles

    EDITING RATES:
    Prologue Editing Package: $65
      1. Up to 30-minute assessment with you by phone where we will agree upon type of work to be performed
      2. Preliminary edit of first 10 pages of manuscript (double spaced, 1" margins) to determine level of editing required
      3. Written report of analysis: level of editing required on your work, estimated time for full manuscript completion, cost of remainder of project
      4. Email or up to 30-minute post-edit phone review with you to determine next steps

    Editing projects going forward include research and fact checking where applicable unless otherwise directed.

    (Prologue is a one-time charge for new work only.)


    Style It: $40 and Up (this rate is per hour)
      1. Basic ($40/hr) to Substantive Editing ($50/hr)
      2. Web Page Content Editing
      3. Flat rate can be determined for large projects
      Editing includes enhancing voice, style, language, clarity, simplicity, removing inconsistencies, recommendations and examples for improvement to entire body of work.

    Proofreading: $20 (this rate is per hour)
      1. Manuscripts or other materials Proofreading
      2. Web Page Content Proofreading
      Proofreading is performed on final drafts only and is generally a much faster process than its tenacious cousin, editing. Proofing includes the final check for spelling, grammatical, and punctuation errors that may have been introduced during the editing process.


    WRITING RATES:
    Ink Blotter: $120
      1. Up to 750 Words
    Blue Ink Suite: $210
      1. Up to 1,500 Words
    Red Ink Suite: $40 (this rate is per hour)
      1. Over 1,500 Words OR
      2. Web Site Written Content
    eBook Upload: Starting at $70
      1. First 5 chapters free, $2 per chapter thereafter or agreed flat rate.
      2. Format and upload to Amazon Kindle site(s). (Upload for hard copy purchases can be discussed)
      2. Format and upload to Smashwords (Barnes & Noble, iBooks, Kobo, Overdrive)
    (eBook Upload is a per manuscript charge)
